Bandai Spirits has officially announced that the classic RX-78-2 Gundam will be treated with renewed designed in the 40th installment in its highly anticipated Real Grade (RG) Gunpla line. At the heart of this new RG Gunpla is a completely new molded and designed inner frame, representing a significant advancement in Gunpla technology. Bandai Spirits has made significant investments in constructing an interior frame that not only improves model stability and posability, but also provides builders with a unique experience.
The main mobile suit from the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (2025) anime series has made its way for the first time in the High Grade GunPla series! The Gundam itself is designed by Neon Genesis Evangelion's mechanical designer Ikuto Yamashita.

The HG 1/144 Gundam Calibarn is set to release in July 2023. This High Grade GunPla kit features Suletta’s newest mobile suit, the Gundam Calibarn, complete with pure white armor and its broom-like beam cannon as its main weapon, adding a touch of “witch”!
